What is Low Testosterone (Hypogonadism)?

Low testosterone, also known as hypogonadism, is a condition where the body does not produce enough of the hormone testosterone. Testosterone is crucial for maintaining muscle mass, bone density, and sexual function. Low levels can affect overall health and quality of life. What is Alopecia Areata?

Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune disorder where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, leading to hair loss. This condition can result in small, round patches of hair loss on the scalp, face, and other parts of the body, and in some cases, complete baldness. To learn more about alopecia areata, click here.

This is a joint endocrinology, rheumatology, and dermatology clinical trial.

 

What is Endocrinology?

What is Rheumatology?

This is a rheumatology trial. Rheumatology is the branch of medicine that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, which affect the joints, muscles, and connective tissues. What is Dermatology?

Dermatology is the branch of medicine focused on diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. Dermatologists manage a wide range of conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, alopecia, and skin cancers. To learn more about dermatology, click here.

 

This study may be right for you if:

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with low testosterone by a medical professional
  • You are experiencing hair loss as a result of low testosterone
  • You are able to travel to our clinics*
