What is Ankylosing Spondylitis?
Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) is a chronic, systemic and inflammatory disease of the spine in which the vertebrae, or the bones of the spine, fuse over time and lead to a rigid spine. This fusing is known as ankylosis. This is a Rheumatology trial.

What is Rheumatology?
This is a rheumatology trial. Rheumatology is the branch of medicine that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, which affect the joints, muscles, and connective tissues. Rheumatologists manage conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and ankylosing spondylitis, aiming to reduce pain and improve joint function.
This study may be right for you if:
- You have been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis by a medical professional
- You are 18 years or older
- You are able to travel to our clinics*
